“ As we were walking in Downtown Flagstaff looking for lunch options we were drawn to Baja Mar by the Latin music and friendly owners that greeted us. The family owned and operated restaurant opened last year after having years of food industry experience. The menu had a focus on seafood but many other choices, including a yummy house margarita. My husband had a carne asada plate with fresh flour tortilla’s, rice and beans and I had Cameron shrimp plate with fresh corn tortillas that was the owners mothers recipe that I will order next time I visit. After spending years in the service business, I would rate the overall experience very high. We will let all our friends know where to eat when the visit Flagstaff! ”

“ We stayed at the Americano and was told that the restaurant was very good, so we decided to try it out. Wow, it was amazing. We were told to try the shrimp quesadilla, we did and it was so so good. We also tried the nachos and the carne asada taco. They all were amazing. We were told we got 10% off since we stayed at the hotel, however the staff forgot to give us the discount, so we asked if we could have a churro instead of the money, they gave us 2 instead of making us share. Excellent service, excellent food. We took the food back up to our room and ate it there. ”

For our meal I got a shrimp dish with mushrooms and my husband got the carne asada plate. We both loved our food, and the service was great, everything came out very fast!
